On September 20th, 2017 we will be hosting the NEST Employment & Information Fair in Laxgalts’ap (Greenville) at the Laxgalts’ap Community Centre. With over 15+ employer, education and training providers, you will be able to meet with and learn about opportunities. This is your chance to visit information sharing booths where you can network, ask questions and get a head start on employment and training this fall!

Q1: Can I drop in or is this a full day event?

Yes, you can drop in at any time throughout the day!

Q2: Will lunch be provided?

Yes, lunch will be out at noon and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Q3: What should I wear?

Dress to impress! Although this event is intended to be an information sharing and networking event, not a hiring event, you will still be making initial connections with employers and trainers, so you want to ensure you make the best impression possible.

Q4: Will companies be taking resumes?

Not all employers will be accepting resumes and may encourage you to apply online. That being said, we do encourage attendees to bring copies of your resume just in case an employer does want to take a look at your experience and for a quick reference of your past employment experience.

Q5: How can I prepare?

You can prepare for this event by stopping into one of our THREE NEST locations to get help with updating your resume, practice your networking skills and take short term training such as WHIMS and FoodSafe.
