NCSFNSS is seeking a part time Fisheries Technical and Communications Coordinator (FtCC) to support our Fisheries programs
Part time position (Approximately 21 hours a week)

  • Demonstrated ability to type 50 wpm
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated administrative, project reporting, and data collection experience
  • Project management and organizational skills are definite assets
  • A combination of diplomacy and assertiveness are required for the position
  • Must work well in a supportive team environment while following direction of supervisor
  • Experience meeting deadlines
  • Experience with fisheries field work coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of First Nations fisheries issues
  • Knowledge of North Coast B.C. fisheries issues
  • Experience working with First Nations organizations is a definite asset
  • Flexible work scheduling may be required required skills and knowledge
  • Two years relevant post-secondary education
  • Two years’ experience working in position with similar duties
  • Project reporting experience
